Baking Team Member – Entry Level

Pay: $17–$19/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Approximately 5:00 AM–2:00 PM | Monday–Thursday | 4-day work week

Annie's Bakery is seeking a dependable and hardworking Baking Team Member to join our production team. Previous bakery experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, is reliable, and is interested in learning.
This is a hands-on, physically active position working as part of our baking team to produce breads, rolls, buns, and other bakery products. The work is fast-paced and requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Assist with mixing, shaping, baking, and other bread production tasks
- Measure and handle ingredients according to recipes and production procedures
- Operate bakery equipment after proper training
- Monitor products for quality and consistency
- Maintain a clean and organized production area
- Follow food safety, sanitation, GMP, and workplace safety procedures
- Assist with cleaning equipment and production areas
- Work cooperatively with other members of the production team
- Assist with other bakery production tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Reliable attendance and punctuality — early morning availability is required
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Willingness and ability to learn
- Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and production procedures
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products
Preferred Experience
- Food handling, foodservice, restaurant, or food manufacturing experience is preferred
- Bakery experience is helpful but not required
- Familiarity with food safety practices and GMPs is a plus
- Experience in manufacturing, production, kitchen, warehouse, or other physically active work environments can also be helpful
