FEMA is looking for new employees to help with hurricane recovery here in the east.
The agency says they're hiring full-time temporary workers to help with the recovery process as hurricane victims continue to reach out for disaster assistance.

Currently, they're in need of administrative assistants and human resources specialists, although additional positions in accounting, planning, analytics, statistics, writing and editing, media relations, environmental sciences, construction management and more will be posted in the coming days. For some positions, you need a college degree.

To qualify, you must be 18 years or older and have a valid government identification card, such as a driver's license, passport, Social Security card, birth certificate or U.S Military ID.

All candidates will be required to complete a background check before they are hired.

The job typically lasts anywhere from 30 to 120 days, according to FEMA's website, although representatives say they will be on the ground in North Carolina for as long as people need.
