About the Role
Join an early-stage B2B SaaS team as its founding AI engineer, building the core of a real-time voice agent that supports sales conversations and product demos. You will own the agent's technical direction, from architecture and model choices to measuring and improving performance.
What You'll Do
Build agent reasoning, tool use, memory, and recovery for live conversations, while meeting tight latency requirements.
Develop evaluation pipelines and use call data to drive measurable improvements, including fine-tuning where it is effective.
Improve the reliability of browser automation so the agent can demonstrate products in a live browser while speaking with buyers.
Ship product features end to end using TypeScript, Node.js, and Next.js.
Work with customers and design partners to shape the product, and set direction on models, methods, and build-versus-buy decisions.
What We're Looking For
Four to seven years of AI engineering experience, including hands-on experience shipping AI agents in production from end to end.
At least one year working with real-time or voice AI systems, such as WebRTC, LiveKit, streaming, or other low-latency applications.
Experience with agent evaluation, observability, and cost optimization, plus TypeScript, Node.js, and Next.js.
Background in voice AI, AI sales, browser agents, sales technology, or another fast-growing AI product environment.
Experience with browser automation tools such as Playwright and working directly with customers or design partners is valuable.
A computer science degree or another technical background, with strong technical fundamentals.
