The role
Full-time | Reports to Sr HR Manager | Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | On-site 5 days/week | Pompano Beach, FL
Join Banyan Treatment Centers as an HR Specialist, supporting employees and leaders across a portfolio of facilities. You'll handle day-to-day HR work that keeps us compliant and running smoothly: leave case administration, employee relations support, HRIS transactions, onboarding, and audit-ready documentation.
This is a busy, high-volume role. It's a strong fit for someone looking to grow in their HR career, who communicates clearly, solution focused and stays highly organized. You'll work closely with the Sr HR Manager.
Why join our team
Banyan Treatment Centers is a leading national provider of intensive treatment for people facing substance use and mental health disorders. Backed by TPG, one of the nation's largest private equity investors, Banyan has physical locations across 8 states and a growing virtual care platform.
We're building the Banyan Way: a scalable, modern people infrastructure and a consistent, high-quality employee experience at every location. Our HR team supports people who do hard, meaningful work every day.
What it's really like
- - The volume is high. On a typical day you'll juggle employee questions, open leave cases, HR tickets, and a queue of transactions. Prioritizing well matters as much as working hard.
- - Employee relations. Our employees work in demanding clinical settings. You'll be a first point of contact for their concerns and need to respond with calm, care, and good judgment.
- - You won't carry it alone. The Sr HR Manager supports you in complex leave cases, reviews your work on sensitive matters, and coaches you along the way.
- - We promote from within. As you build skills in employee relations and leave management, there's a real path to HR Generalist and beyond.
