We are seeking a skilled mid-level Systems and Network Administrator to support and maintain our Windows Server environment, Microsoft 365 services, endpoint management, network infrastructure, and security controls. This role is ideal for a hands-on IT professional with strong experience in Active Directory, Group Policy, Intune, Microsoft 365, networking, firewalls, and troubleshooting across a hybrid environment.
The successful candidate will help ensure reliable system performance, secure access, effective device management, and responsive technical support while contributing to documentation, IT projects, and continuous improvement. Basic Linux administration experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment are important for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments and Windows-based PCs
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, user accounts, and hybrid identity
- Oversee Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.)
- Configure and manage Intune for device enrollment, compliance policies, and endpoint management
- Utilize Microsoft Purview for data governance, compliance, auditing, and information protection
- Administer network infrastructure including switches, routers, wireless access points, DNS, DHCP, and VPN/remote access solutions
- Configure, monitor, and maintain firewalls and network security controls
- Implement and support security best practices, patching, monitoring, and incident response
- Provide limited administration and troubleshooting for Linux servers
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and contribute to IT projects and improvements

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in systems and/or network administration (mid-level)
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Solid experience managing Microsoft 365 environments
- Experience with Intune (or similar modern device management)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview or data governance/compliance tools
- Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, wireless, VPN)
- Experience with firewalls and basic network security
- Basic Linux administration skills
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hybrid cloud / on-premises environments
- Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices (Zero Trust, least privilege, etc.)
- PowerShell scripting experience
- Experience with monitoring tools and backup solutions
- Experience with Ninja RMM is a plus
