Instructional Designer, HR
Orlando Health is seeking an innovative and collaborative Instructional Designer to support the design, development, and delivery of engaging learning experiences across the organization. This role partners with subject matter experts, learning professionals, and operational teams to create effective training programs that support organizational initiatives, system implementations, and workforce development.
Position Summary
Plans, coordinates, conducts, and evaluates training and educational programs with installed corporate applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver interactive learning solutions aligned with organizational initiatives.
- Analyze training needs and develop training plans, materials, and educational programs.
- Create and maintain e-learning content using authoring tools, graphic design software, animation programs, and instructional technologies.
- Partner with subject matter experts to develop learning materials and training curricula.
- Conduct train-the-trainer sessions and support knowledge transfer efforts.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend enhancements to learning programs.
- Maintain training records, monitor employee progress, and document outcomes.
- Support system implementations, upgrades, and organizational change initiatives through education and training.
- Apply adult learning principles to instructional design and program development.
- Lead or participate in multiple training and process improvement projects.

- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experienced creating engaging e-learning and instructor-led training content.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Education/Training
- Bachelor’s degree required. Associate’s degree and two (2) years of directly related work experience may substitute for the Bachelor’s degree (in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section).
Experience
- Three (3) years of experience in adult learning or education required.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
