Description
Timbers Hospitality Group is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant ready to take ownership of high-level accounting functions across our multi-location portfolio. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role reporting directly to the Controller, with a clear path to Assistant Controller for the right candidate.
Requirements
As Senior Accountant, you'll own key accounting functions supporting operations across seven-plus locations, working closely with the Controller and cross-functionally with department managers, directors, and officers. Core responsibilities include:
- Manage corporate bank account activity and cash operations across multiple locations
- Prepare and analyze revenue reports; audit gaming reports for accuracy and compliance
- Consolidate invoices across locations and lead month-end close, including reconciliations of bank accounts, prepaids, corporate credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts
- Manage fixed assets and related schedules
- File monthly sales and use tax across jurisdictions
- Assist in preparing month-end financial statements and support audit requests
- Direct exposure to multi-entity, multi-location accounting — broader scope than a typical single-site accounting role
- Specialized experience in gaming revenue reporting and compliance, a differentiated skill set in Nevada's hospitality market
- A defined growth path to Assistant Controller within a stable, privately owned company
