Job Description
The base pay for this position is $176,000 - $187,000 per year. The base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Restricted stock units will be provided as part of the compensation package.

You will join the Supply Chain and Retail Tech AI org within its Service, Supply Chain and Fraud AI team.. You will be part of a cross-functional, collaborative team driving development of world-class ML systems that drive real-world impact.

Here are some of the key projects our team works on:

Delivery Date Prediction: Scalable Quantile Regression model that balances faster promise vs reliability (Blog)
Graph Neural Network based Policy Abuse detection: GNN model that is robust to sophisticated identity manipulation (Blog)
Personalization: Uplift model for predicting the effectiveness of different customer service policy
Vision-LLM: Gen AI model for automating visual diagnostics and resolution for product refund

What You?ll Do:

Drive significant business impact by designing, building, and deploying large-scale machine learning models balancing short- and long-term value
Work cross-functionally with commercial stakeholders to understand business problems or opportunities, and iteratively develop ML solutions maximizing business ROI
Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering partners
Mentor junior ML Scientists

We Are a Match Because You Have:

A PhD with 3?5 years of experience, or an MSc/BSc in a STEM field (e.g., engineering, computer science, economics) with 6?8 years of industry experience.
Proficiency in Python and Python ML ecosystem (XGBoost or equivalent, PyTorch)
Hands-on experience deploying machine learning solutions into production.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence cross-functional teams and leadership

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with GCP (or AWS, Azure), MLOps (feature store, MLflow etc) and orchestration tools (Kubeflow, Airflow)
Experience with containerization tools (Docker)
Familiarity with causal inference, multi-armed bandits, personalisation
Hands-on experience with LLMs
