Position Summary

This position is for EPES Transport, Inc., a division of Penske Logistics, based in Greensboro, North Carolina. In this role you will serve as the first impression of EPES Transport to potential driver candidates. You will be attracting quality candidates and will be responsible for participating in hiring decisions and using good judgement to assess whether or not a candidate meets company requirements. It is essential to maintain a knowledgeable, professional presentation to drivers of Company?s qualifications and operations.

This position is located in Charlotte, NC.

Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities:

Responsible for inbound and outbound driver recruiting calls, leads and inquiries. Screens, interviews and pre-qualifies all telephone inquiries, update ATS

Pre-Qualify Driver candidates prior to submitting to processing. This includes running and reviewing all applicable reports, updating application/Tenstreet as needed .

Maintains knowledge of FMCSA regulations, Company hiring guidelines and practices, ATS functionality and obtaining & analyzing consumer reports.

Maintain contact with pre-screened drivers up to date of hire.

Qualifications:

1 year of recruiting experience required

1 year of transportation experience preferred

Knowledge of the Fair Credit Report process required

Experience managing candidates & requisitions in an Applicant Tracking System required

Knowledge of FMCSA regulations required

Must have excellent documentation skills

Must have strong communication / phone skills

Must have a sales oriented mindset

Ability to collaborate with operational leadership required

Must be a self starter & be able to prioritize when working on multiple requirements

Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with defined performance metrics

Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening are required.
