Director, Compensation New York, New York, United States Overview /Objective The NFL is currently seeking a Compensation Director to join our Human Resources team. This individual will lead the analysis, administration and maintenance of the NFL?s domestic and international compensation and incentive plans. The role will lead the Compensation function and oversee internal position management including accurate tracking and budgeting of the entire NFL workforce. Responsibilities Manage administration of the annual compensation planning cycle, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient execution. Oversee the participation and completion of compensation benchmarking surveys and analyze data to ensure market competitiveness. Development of dynamic compensation modeling scenarios to assist with compensation planning and budgeting. Review and approval of hiring ranges for job postings. Partner closely with Finance, HRBP?s, and the Talent Acquisition team on all position management related processes. Ensure compliance with all applicable wage and hour laws and compensation-related requirements including FLSA evaluations and determinations. Collaborate with the VP of Total Rewards on a variety of projects, including program design, analysis, and administration of programs. Manage incentive plan for Media Sales team in partnership with SVP of Media Sales and finance Run Ad Hoc analyses for senior executives and HR leadership. Review and recommend compensation change requests. Monitor compensation trends and partner with outside consultants when necessary. Support various aspects of executive compensation administration. Assist with preparation and materials for Compensation Committee meetings. Ensure Oracle HCM and Compensation Module systems meet compensation needs. Required Qualifications Bachelor?s Degree 10+ years of experience in compensation or Total Rewards management including 3+ years of management experience Demonstrated experience with compensation program design and market analysis Knowledge of international pay practices Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills HR analytics and data visualization skills Strong analytical skills and extreme attention to detail Experience gathering and interpreting large sets of data Other Key Attributes / Characteristics: CCP or GRP certification preferred Oracle HCM experience preferred Ability to manage projects effectively while juggling multiple priorities Ability to exercise judgment and to make decisions independently Ability to work with senior executives FLSA exempt. Salary / Pay Range This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range. Salary $160,000 - $200,000 USD At the NFL, in-person work at our offices is a top priority because it allows us to collaborate more effectively, build stronger connections, and maintain the culture that drives our success.
