Additionally, we work closely with airport leadership and the Resource Operations team on providing inputs for staffing
The role is a part of the Airport and Cargo Resource Planning team within our Airport & Cargo Excellence group.

What you'll do

Develops and maintains airport staffing models to analyze staffing requirements and work closely with Financial Planning & Controller groups to provide accurate headcount forecasts
Identifies, analyzes and recommends solutions to airport resource issues and build strategies to optimize staffing efficiencies
Evaluates the financial and customer experience implications of strategic projects such as capital expenditures, contract proposals, process improvements, and technology changes as it relates to staffing
Works closely with airport leadership to provide support and evaluate changes to staffing practices
Uses qualitative and quantitative observations/data to develop capacity model requirements to be used to feed staffing models
Basic understanding of lean six sigma and continuous improvement to identify process improvement opportunities
Manages standardization of processes at the airports in alignment with the model(s)

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
2+ years of related experience in an airline or aviation consulting firm as an analyst in operations, finance, or corporate development
BS/BA degree in a related field - preferably in engineering, business, mathematics, or economics
Expert in Excel and PowerPoint
Motivated professional that is capable of managing a heavy workload while prioritizing complex tasks
An agile, self-starter with the ability to deal with ambiguity
Adapts well in fast-paced/changing environments
Shows up every day with a high can-do attitude and energy
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Ability to pull and manipulate large sets of data using SQL or Python Experience
Working with union or frontline level employees
