Main responsibilities :
- Design and develop predictive models applied to industrial and process data (Machine Learning, Deep Learning, time series analysis);
- Develop prescriptive models to optimize operations and support decision-making;
- Leverage and extract value from complex industrial data to identify performance improvement opportunities;
- Design hybrid models combining Artificial Intelligence and domain expertise to enhance the reliability of analyses;
- Industrialize developed models and ensure their integration into production environments;
- Develop Generative AI solutions tailored to business needs and technical documentation;
- Ensure the performance, robustness, and continuous improvement of deployed models;
- Collaborate closely with Data, IT, PMO, and business teams to address operational challenges;
- Present analysis results and provide clear recommendations to stakeholders;
- Contribute to the upskilling of Data teams and share best practices.
Required Skills :
- Strong knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and time series analysis techniques;
- Solid Python development and data manipulation skills;
- Proficiency in model deployment and industrialization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, MLflow);
- Knowledge of mathematical optimization and decision-support techniques;
- Experience with Generative AI technologies, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), LLMs (Large Language Models), and vector databases;
- Ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical business stakeholders;
- Strong analytical mindset, rigor, autonomy, and results-oriented approach;
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional environments.
Education & Experience :
- Engineering degree or Master's degree (5-year higher education qualification) in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, or a related field;
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Data Science, including deploying models in production environments;
- Experience in the mining, industrial, or energy sectors is considered an asset;
- Knowledge of industrial systems (SCADA, DCS, IoT, data historians) is a plus.
