Balance Point Wellness, LLC is a thriving outpatient mental health practice seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) licensed in Maryland to join our collaborative clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about providing exceptional psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults in a supportive and team-oriented environment.

Working under the leadership of our Vice President of Psychiatry, the PMHNP will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, treating, and supporting the behavioral and mental health needs of our diverse client population.

Position Highlights

Full-time opportunity (32 hours per week)
Monday–Friday schedule with no on-call responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
Perform psychiatric medication evaluations and ongoing medication management
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment recommendations as appropriate
Collaborate with therapists, psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other members of the treatment team
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Provide ongoing psychiatric follow-up and continuity of care

Requirements

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Active Maryland Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license
Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority preferred
Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults preferred
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team
