Ingram Micro's Union Township warehouse anticipates adding as many as 800 employees between now and December.
A news release from Aerotek, Ingram Micro's Maryland-based staffing partner, said the advance logistic center just west of Interstate 81 in Lickdale now has more than 900 employees, including more than 200 Aerotek contractors.
Candidates must be 18, have a high school diploma or GED, and have legal authorization to work in the United States. Applicants can complete a form online at www.aerotek.com, or call 1-888-237-6835.
Applicants must pass a standard drug and background screening. Prior warehouse work experience is preferred.
Full-time employees hired through Aerotek receive benefits, including contributory medical, dental, vision and 401k.
"We are excited about our partnership with Ingram Micro to provide warehouse and logistics staff to support the demands of the Jonestown operation," Mike Dougherty, Aerotek director of business operations, said in the release. "The Pennsylvania location, which is the largest Ingram Micro facility under one roof, is the busiest ALC in the entire Ingram Micro network throughout the world. The Jonestown team of associates provides world-class distribution and reverse logistics to tens of thousands of customers daily."
The Lickdale warehouse is considered to be a 24-7 operation, although times vary by season, an Aerotek spokeswoman wrote in an email. Jobs will be available on all shifts. Positions are
